Just think; every year we will spend approx. 200 million liters of fresh, Irish milk to produce the completely velvety cream that Baileys deserves. That’s enough to make around 3.3 billion milkshakes with Baileys.
This milk comes primarily from small, family-run farms. And by this we mean farms, where the cows are allowed to roam freely on lands with juicy, green grass, which have been passed down from one generation to the next. All around some of these thousands of hectares are protected bogs, natural woodlands, wild lands and hedgerows. These form small oases for animals, birds, bees and butterflies, which here can find respite from the pressured nature.”
