One not to miss! Continuing with the Maritime Release series, West Cork has taken one of their signature single malts and matured it in port cask to make the sweetest of offerings in the series. As with other releases in the Maritime Release series, the delectable whiskey is bottled in a rather unique conical glass bottle with an off-centre spout reminiscent of vintage glass fishing floats.
West Cork Port Casked Finished Single Malt Irish Whiskey patiently matured in first fill bourbon casks and finished in Quinta Da Boeira Port Casks.
Aroma: Dried fruit with spice notes of nutmeg and black pepper. Vanilla and toffee are also present.
Taste: The port cask finish is the sweetest of the offerings, with the aroma of the dried fruit pulling through.
