With Sofia, we let whisky from our new Bulgarian oak casks meet a fully matured version from Sherry Oloroso casks.

While the sherry-matured part is smoke-free, the European oak brings a mildly peated whisky that seamlessly merges with its counterpart’s dark notes of chocolate and raisins.

The result is an intriguing dance between the sweet, the floral, the distinctly spicy, and the mildly smoky. We have chosen to name the edition Sofia — a friendly nod to the Bulgarian metropolis near the heart of the Balkans.
