The Arcane Extraroma is a rum made from pure sugarcane juice from Mauritius, distilled in column stills and aged in American oak barrels under tropical conditions. This highly aromatic rum is the result of a blend of young and old rums matured using the Solera method.
The Solera method ensures a harmonious blending of liquids. This Spanish process uses barrels stacked in multiple layers. Over time, the natural evaporation (the angels’ share) is compensated by refilling the upper barrels. Only the liquid from the bottom barrels (the oldest) is bottled. This aging and blending method ensures a consistent flavor profile, softens the alcohol, and rounds out the rum’s body.
