As for the Tête de Linotte series, certified organic wines, the name that can make you smile is nevertheless very serious. In fact, if winegrowers are often accused of not respecting the environment, in the Caves de la Loire they have made an inventory of the biodiversity of 250 hectares of vines: 157 species have been listed, including 47 bird species. One of them seduced them: The melodious Linnet.
This protected bird has made its nest in the heart of the vines and provides them with natural protection as it eliminates harmful insects to feed on. It was therefore a symbolic gesture to dedicate the vintage to this rare species, for which the winegrowers in the Loire have already installed nest boxes on the plots.
We therefore had the opportunity to taste Cabernet d’Anjou rosé in the range.
