Ocho tequila is the result of un-parrelled attention to detail in every step of the production process. Over-ripe agaves are hand selected from single estate plantations which gives the master distiller, Carlos Camarena, full control over the aroma and flavour profile of the end product. The results speak for themselves.
This single barrel Extra Anejo is a rare find. Produced from the 2014 harvest of agaves from ranch La Magueyera, it is aged for 39 months and 6 days in a single barrel. Bottled at a high ABV of 54.2% gives this extraordinary tequila a bigger kick and accentuates every aspect from aroma to taste. The light colour is due to the lack of re-charring of the barrel and mastery of the distiller, Carlos Camarena. He is on a relentless pursuit to hero the agave taste rather than the oak.

AROMA: Sweet star anise, round red fruit, custard, cedar, caramalised pineapple, fresh watercress
TASTE: Crystalline ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted hazelnut, walnut, orange blossom, mandarin peel, toffee, sweet licorice, caramalised pumpkin.
BARREL: 36 months & 6 days American Oak
