Every year, Snaps Bornholm comes out with a Limited Edition of 5,000 bottles on our birthday on 14 October. In 2019, we are continuing the tradition with ‘Aprikos’.
Our apricot schnapps is golden like autumn leaves and tastes sweet with a touch of acidity. ‘Abrikos’ is an excellent companion to, among other things, chicken food, tapas and cheese. And as with all our schnapps, our ‘Aprikos’ only gets better with age.
About Snaps Bornholm
Behind Snaps Bornholm are three friends – Simon Lorentzo Jensen, John Oxlade and Jesper Kleine Rasmussen. Over several years, they have privately made their own chili schnapps, which has been very popular among friends. In 2015, the idea of putting the schnapps into production arose, and the search for a producing partner began. That led them to Bornholm and to De Bornholmske Spritfabrikker in Nexø. The meeting with Bornholm and the owner Niels Frost Jensen and his wife Erna made it clear that they had found the perfect business partner. Niels shares their great passion for schnapps, and it didn’t take long for them to agree to play and experiment with natural, organic ingredients to arrive at a Bornholm schnapps of the finest quality. A schnapps brewed on proud traditions with a modern touch that piques curiosity and provokes the senses.

It’s still schnapps that fits eminently at the Danish lunch table, but they actually go a little further than herring and the big cold table. It could be cheese and tapas. The selection is constantly being expanded while testing and trying out. It’s exciting, new and incredibly tasty – even if you’ve always thought you might not like schnapps at all.
