Schola Sarmenti – Véspre Fiano Bianco Salento IGT 75 cl.

Puglia – Italy

“Fiano” comes from pure Fiano grapes grown as saplings in Nardò, in the province of Lecce from vineyards that are more than 50 years old. In the cellar, they are then further selected on a modern sorting table. This is followed by fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature before bottling.

Characteristics of this white wine from the Schola Sarmenti winery
The wine has an intense straw yellow colour; on the nose it is easy to recognize the typical notes of the variety. From acacia flowers to the inescapable aroma of roasted hazelnuts. In the mouth, however, it reveals a pleasant fresh wine, with hints of mineral notes and a tasty and pleasant long finish.

Recommended pairing when tasting this white wine
Excellent for seafood appetizers or savory appetizers. Served at a temperature of 10°C in a not very large glass.

Grapes with a noble aroma and unmistakable aromas that follow each other in a scent of fresh hints of acacia flowers with a toasted hazelnut finish. The fresh sip with hints of mineral notes fades to a tasty finish of good persistence with an admirable, harmonious and delicate taste.
