S.B.S: Single Barrel Selection Ecuador 2016 is a single cask rum based on molasses and distilled in a column still in 2016. The rum was aged in ex-Bourbon and Virgin Oak casks and bottled at a strength of 57% vol in August 2024. Ecuador is not a country we often see in the rum world, but that is beginning to change. Just a year ago, our very own S.B.S Origin Ecuador Malacatos won the prize for the best Daiquiri rum, a competition organized by Rum Explorer with judges from across Europe. S.B.S Ecuador is limited to only 298 bottles.

Aroma: Light and fresh, with tart citrus, roasted nuts, and the earthy scent of leather, all enveloped in the aroma of freshly cut oak.
Taste: Dry and spicy with a smooth, nutty character, leaving a lingering aftertaste of sweet caramel and vanilla.
