The rum is distilled by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, who only process their own sugar cane, which ensures that only Dominican sugar cane is used. Patridom Seleción Exclusiva is a premium rum made from both fresh sugarcane juice and molasses. The rum is aged in the tropical climate of the Dominican Republic, in American and French oak barrels, for a period of six to twelve years.
