The name is well chosen, because when you think of Kentucky, you think of bourbon. The nose offers toffee, fruit, eucalyptus, and oak. The taste is cinnamon, toffee, caramel, pepper, oak, and spices.

Willett Distillery is known for its sourced products. However, in 2012, Willett began distilling again for the first time since the 1970s. Willett uses a total of six different mash bills.
Willett Distillery is a privately-owned, family-run distillery that produces bourbon and rye whiskey. The distillery is located on the outskirts of Bardstown, Kentucky, on a site that was originally a farm owned by the Willett family.
In the spring of 1936, at the age of 27, Thompson Willett founded Willett Distillery. The distillery was built near the family farm, which had been purchased by Lambert Willett, Thompson’s father. Upon completion in the spring of 1937, Willett Distillery produced its first batch of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. The first batch consisted of 30 barrels on March 17, 1937, St. Patrick’s Day.
