Few spirits have an aroma as seductive as really good pisco. Campo de Encanto means something like “the (wine) field of enchantment”, and here there is no doubt that the enchantment follows all the way from the field to the glass – it simply smells wonderfully of tropical fruit, stone fruit, flowers and everything else . Although a magician never reveals his tricks, we know what the magic can be attributed to: namely, the handiwork of master distiller Carlos Romero. Pisco Campo de Encanto is made from grapes from old vines with i.a. torontel, moscatel and quebranta, which are fermented slowly and distilled once in a copper pot still. It is bottled without aging and without dilution, so the 40.5% is “distillation strength”.
