Moselland is headquartered by the Mosel River. The unforgettable river landscape has given the wines their names. Moselland is the largest wine cooperative in Rheinland-Pfalz. The company is productive, reliable, and innovative and is today one of Germany’s leading wine producers.

About the Producer
The Moselland cooperative is one of the largest and most important producers in the region. Thanks to its success, the cooperative has grown over the years and today has around 2,700 members, each cultivating their own vineyards – often based on generations of experience with the local conditions. The members’ vineyards stretch along a 250 km section of the Mosel River, and in several places along the river, Moselland has built “press houses” where the fresh grapes are pressed before the must is transported to the winery. This ensures the local characteristics of the grapes and preserves the fresh fruit flavors in the final wine.

Moselland has a team of consultants and winemakers who, in collaboration with the members, ensure that local expertise is combined with modern techniques. The cooperative also has an extensive quality program that rewards winegrowers who cultivate the steepest slopes, where yields are often lower but quality is even higher. Additionally, more and more vineyards are being cultivated according to organic principles.
