Vermentino often has notes of citrus, apple, and herbs, which are also reflected in the grappa. It has been aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve as much of the grape’s character as possible. Bottled at 42% alcohol, it contains no additives of any kind.

The Producer:
Paolo Marolo is the founder of this fantastic distillery, located on the outskirts of Alba, between the renowned wine regions of Barolo and Barbaresco in Piedmont. Marolo is highly esteemed and respected among connoisseurs and restaurateurs across Italy, Europe, and the USA.
The distillery was founded in 1977 and uses the artisanal method discontinuo a bagnomaria (batch distillation with a water bath), where the grape pomace is gently heated indirectly with water to ensure delicate handling of the raw material.
