ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Gabriel Boudier was founded in 1874 and has over 140 years of knowledge and expertise. From the very beginning, the producer has been innovative in its range of liqueurs and spirits, earning a strong reputation worldwide. It all started in 1909 when Gabriel Boudier took over the Fontbonne house and renamed it after himself. The house was located on Boulevard de Strasbourg in Dijon, the place that gave its name to their liqueur, Crème de Cassis de Dijon. In 1936, Boudier’s widow sold the company to Marcel Battault, who continued with the same dedication and passion as his predecessor. In 1969, production moved to Rue de Cluj in Dijon with a vision for expansion and development. Gabriel Boudier remains family-owned to this day and stays true to its motto: “Quality without compromise.”
