Bordeaux Apéritif

A rose version of the classic vermouth Lillet. This is blended with red and white Grand Cru Bordeaux wines used to make Lillet Rouge and Lillet Blanc, respectively. To this Peruvian quinine are added both sweet orange peel from Spain, bitter Haitian orange peel and various fruit liqueurs. A stunning vermouth with hints of lush fruit, wild flowers and red berries.

Nose: An autolytic, champagne-like nose with all sorts of grape characters. Tangy and herbs.
Taste: rose petals and tanned wine, freshly cut grass, flowering and jasmine too. Dry and intense with a rippling spicy citrus.
Surface treatment: Citrus peel and oak in finish.
