Juvé & Camps – Brut Rosé Pinot Noir Organic (ECO) 75 cl.

Spanish Sparkling Wine – CAVA

Delicate taste and aroma of toasted bread, floral notes, and a tribute to the seductive red fruit characteristics of Pinot Noir grapes.

A single-varietal Pinot Noir with a distinct Mediterranean character. The grapes are sourced from Espiells, where the soil is rich in clay and limestone at altitudes of up to 250 meters. Harvesting begins early to capture the grapes’ freshness and achieve a charming, light color.

Gentle pressing and light maceration ensure a careful extraction of color and primary aromas. Made using the Methode Traditionelle, with an average aging of 12 months in the bottle. 9 g/l dosage.

Wine Spectator
Bright and balanced, this juicy version offers a lively bead, with lovely notes of nectarine, plum skin, and creamed almond, plus a hint of passion fruit coulis. Delicate hints of fresh herbs, white blossoms, and spices linger on the finish.

90 POINTS
Vinbladet – “A SAFE WINNER”
Raspberry-strawberry aroma, very pure. Fine creamy texture and mousse, fresh berries, and an airy aftertaste with lovely fruit. A very elegant, harmonious, and full-bodied Cava.

Gastro – “BALANCE OF FULLNESS AND FRESHNESS”
Pink Champagne and similar styles have been among the hottest trends in the wine world lately. In this category, the luxury Cava house Juvé y Camps offers this Cava made from free-run juice of 100% Pinot Noir from its own vineyard, Feixa 1. Juvé y Camps dominates the premium Cava market, and this rosé charmer does not disappoint. The color is alluring, and the aroma and taste lead towards strawberries and red currants. There is both richness and freshness in perfect balance. Not the cheapest, but definitely worth the price.

Alt Om Vin – “CHARACTER AND FULLNESS – FOR PINOT NOIR FANS”
Character, fruit, and body. Intense and deep aroma of strawberries and cherries. Persistent bubbles. A wine with personality and depth, easily accompanying grilled fish or chicken. A must for Pinot lovers.

Nyhedsavisen – “FINE BUBBLES AND A VERY LONG FINISH”
A pure Pinot Noir-based Cava with fresh strawberries, fine bubbles, and a very long finish. Pricey, but incredibly elegant.

Vinavisen – “DRY WITH A TOUCH OF SWEETNESS”
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, giving it a beautiful ruby-red color. Tastes distinctly of Pinot with fine spice notes. Dry, but with a slight sweetness. Fine bubbles in the glass and a well-balanced mousse in the mouth.

About Juvé y Camps
Cava is Spain’s sparkling wine – a fantastic alternative to the more famous (and often pricier…) French bubbles known as Champagne. In fact, Cava is produced using the Methode Traditionelle, also known as the Champagne method, where a base wine is enriched with sugar and yeast before being bottled for a second fermentation. The longer the wine ages, the more complex its nuances become. Once matured, the bottles are placed in pupitres, special racks that hold them upside down. Over time, the sediment gathers in the neck, which is then frozen at -20°C. This frozen sediment is removed using the pressure inside the bottle, and the wine is topped up with a liqueur that determines its sweetness level.

Juvé y Camps has been producing outstanding wine for over 200 years, but it wasn’t until 1921 that the Catalan house launched its first sparkling wine. The grapes come exclusively from the estate’s own vineyards. Today, the family owns four estates, making them the largest vineyard owner in Penedès. The grapes are harvested 100% by hand, and only the free-run juice is used to ensure the finest and most elegant flavors without unwanted bitterness. This attention to detail is a hallmark of a luxury house like Juvé y Camps. Additionally, filtration is kept to a minimum to preserve as much aroma and taste as possible.

In the 1970s, most Cava on the market was far too young and too sweet. This led Josep Juvé y Camps to release a small batch of aged, drier Cava originally reserved for private consumption. The response was overwhelming, and Reserva de la Familia, with its more serious and refined style, helped change both consumer and producer perceptions of Cava. With this new standard, producers could no longer mask flaws or overproduction with excessive sweetness, leading to a greater focus on quality. Juvé y Camps was, is, and remains a pioneer in the world of premium Cava.
