Each barrel has its own scent, color and taste depending on the oak used and depending on where it was stored during the first storage. Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is as individual as the oak barrel, it is stored in. Therefore, each bottle is provided with the number of the barrel it is stored in and the date of bottling. But even if each barrel produces unique whiskey (240 bottles per barrel), the production process is always the same. When the best barrels are thinned after 4-6 years of storage, they are moved and placed entirely at the top of the room, where they are for two years before the content undergoes another carbon filtration.
