Hell or High Water Spiced 70 cl. 38%
Barbados/Dominican Republic/Guyana Premium Blended Rum
Come Hell or High Water Spiced (38% abv) is created using the finest Caribbean rums from the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos in the Dominican Republic and Demerara Distillers in Guyana. This balanced, column-distilled blend creates a perfect base for our exotic spices to shine through. Come Hell or High Water Spiced is artfully mixed with delicious spices such as vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, anise and coriander. It is dark and flavorful, while delivering the characteristic long, smooth finish.
TASTING NOTES: Come Hell or High Water Spiced shows the dark reddish-brown color of cinnamon bark. Aromas of rich vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg are forward yet pleasantly soft. The initial taste is of vanilla and caramel, with enough spice to work well in coke or classic cocktails. The signature finish is long and smooth.
Colour: Mahogany.
Scent: Intense scent of melted butter, vanilla and oak.
Tasting notes: Great sweetness and notes of caramel, banana, allspice, cloves and vanilla. Long, warming aftertaste.
Hell or High Water is a rum series with carefully composed blends of rums from Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. The expression “come hell or high water” means that you will do everything to achieve your goal, regardless of the obstacles you encounter. It is clear then that every business experiences its ups and downs, but the two boys, Olli and Jouko, have probably had a disproportionate number of the latter. They mention, among other things, a fire in the production plant, an earthquake, being close to bankruptcy a dozen times and one near-death experience (what??)…
Hell or High Water represents this long journey through all kinds of challenges – and as they say: “A rough journey makes a smooth rum”.
