Gwalarn Whiskey 40% is one of the three pillars on which “The Celtic Whiskey Distillery” stands. The other two are Glann Ar Mor Single Malt and Kornog Peated Single Malt Whisky. Gwalarn is the Celtic inspired little sister who takes the best of all worlds. Gwalarn means “Northwest wind” in Brittany and it brings a breath of fresh air into an otherwise often old-fashioned whiskey world. Gwalarn is a Celtic whiskey blend, which means that inspiration has been gathered from the history of the Celts in Europe. It is thus a blend of both German whisky, French malt whiskey (from Kornog) and blended Scottish malt whisky. It is a unique blend and there is plenty of flavor and value for money.
