Brandy de Jerez Gran Duque d’Alba is a limited edition, obtained from the distillation of excellent white wines from the Palomino and Airén regions, fermented at low temperatures. The process takes place in alquitara-type stills, which produce outstanding spirit or “holandas,” which are then aged in American oak barrels that previously contained Sherry Oloroso, following the traditional Solera system.
In appearance, it presents a mahogany color with golden hues, while on the nose, it offers complex aromas of peach and plum, followed by distinct balsamic notes due to prolonged aging in wood. On the palate, it is rather dry and soft, full-bodied, with hints of toasted and vanilla flavors, ending in a long and pleasant finish.
Excellent to sip alone or in the company of friends.
