Graham’s – Six Grapes Reserve Port 75 cl. 20%

Douro Valley Port

The Six Grapes symbol dates from the 19th century as the code that Graham used to identify the barrels that contained the very best wines produced at each harvest, symbols used to classify wines on a scale from one to six. These wines were chosen because of their unique quality and were usually bottled as Vintage Port. In the early 20th century, Graham began to decline and offer a wine carefully selected from these ‘lots’ under the brand Six Grapes. Over a century later, Six Grapes remains Graham’s signature wine and a quality benchmark for the door category.

In the spring, after harvest, the wines from Quinta dos Malvedo’s vineyard travel to Graham’s 1890 Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, where they usually spend a few years on spicy oak barrels before being incorporated into the Six Grapes blend with our Master Blender. trying to preserve its youthful fruit character.

Smagnote

It looks like a young Grahams Vintage Port in style: dark red with fragrant blackberries and fresh aromas of cassis and licorice. Full-bodied with a good structure and rich black fruit on the palate.
