Beautiful, sparkling rosé with sweetness that matches fruit and berries to perfection, but if you have a sweet tooth, try it also as a welcome drink.
The grapes for Gavioli Moscato Rosato Dolce come from northern Italy, where moscato is harvested at the end of September after a long growing season, where the balance between aromas and acidity is optimal.
The wine’s beautiful color is achieved by adding a touch of brachetto grapes, popularly speaking the moscato grape’s red cousin, as the aromas are very similar despite the color difference.
Aroma and taste have subtle nuances of grape-like muscat aromas with white flowers and underlying citrus. This moscato rosato/rosé exhibits a freshness that elegantly balances the wine’s sweetness when served at the correct temperature.
The type ‘frizzante’ covers sparkling wine that does not have quite as much pressure in the bottle as champagne types, but there is still plenty of exuberance and life in the bubbles.
Enjoy this wine completely chilled with red berries and various fruit desserts, such as melon soup, sorbet, fruit tarts or as a wonderful, unpretentious aperitif.
