Distilled at the Foursquare rum distillery in Barbados, this release was released as a part of the Exceptional Cask series. The blended rum expression combines rums that have been laid down to mature in ex-bourbon and ex-Calvados casks for a total of 14 years, before being bottled at 61.0% abv.
Aromas of ginger, orchard fruits, dark chocolate and toffee lead to a palate of creamy apple pie, coconut and vanilla ice cream. The finish combines hazelnuts and coconut with astringent notes of black tea and a hint of fresh ginger spice.
