FEW Breakfast Gin 70 cl. 42%
American Botanical Gin
A breakfast-inspired gin from the fine people at FEW spirits.
The Illinois distillers created this gin to target the brunch event! The spirit itself includes Earl Gray tea as a key botanical, along with juniper, lemon and other more traditional ingredients.
The result is a very fresh gin that offers notes of lemon verbena, green coriander, violets, pine juniper, bergamot, black tea, bitter orange peel, mint and cinnamon.
A light, fresh and tasty gin – which can also be enjoyed in the afternoon!
Few Spirits is a grain-to-glass distillery in Chicago, Illinois. They are proud of that designation – because being hands on throughout the entire process is not commonplace in the modern whiskey landscape. Few was started in 2011 by Paul Hletko. His grandparents owned a brewery in the Czech Republic, which was “confiscated” by the Nazis during World War II, and to honor their memory, he also entered the alcohol business. However, it was not to be quite the same, because Paul is always looking for new horizons, so he started a distillery in Evanston instead – and this despite the fact that this city was the center of the fight against alcohol during the Prohibition era. In fact, the city was completely dry until 1972! Few Spirits became the first ever legal alcohol production in the city.
The small distillery houses three pot stills, and bourbon, rye, single malt and a variety of gins are made – all with quality and good craftsmanship in mind.
