Manufacturing
With moderate temperatures throughout the summer, the fruit in the grapes developed perfectly with lots of flavor and good acidity. The wine is made from Zinfandel grapes with a bit of Petite Sirah. After fermentation, the wine has matured for 12 months in oak barrels.

The two brothers Michael and David Phillips descend from a family of farmers who have grown grapes in the Lodi area of California for almost a century. Today, the family business has expanded with 6th generation Kevin Phillips and Melissa Phillips Stroud. The family continues the tradition of producing high quality wines with eye-catching and unique labels.
Michael David Winery farms with respect for future generations and has implemented some of the most progressive and sustainable farming practices in California. The family grows wine on 300 ha and, starting with the 2011 vintage, all Lodi grapes from Michael David Winery are certified sustainable.
