Domus Dei is classic Rioja with a contemporary twist; well-vinified and grape-fresh but at the same time with the classic notes from aging in oak.
At the beginning of the 00s, the ubiquitous Belasco wine family bought the winery, which has a good amount of old Tempranillo vines that, with more than 40 years behind them, produce grapes with intense flavor.
Domus Dei Crianza is a drinkable Rioja produced from the Tempranillo grape, which after fermentation in large wooden barrels is aged for 12 months in American and French origin.
It appears as a symbiosis between classic and modern. The wine presents itself in the glass with a nice brick color and an inviting nose of ripe fruit, spice and a touch of barrel ageing. It is followed up in the mouth with the same notes with good intensity, but all the while the wine remains elegant and well-structured.
