Godon-Reverdy – France
Brilliant salmon colour, fresh and fruity with flavors and aromas of citrus, cherry and blackberry.

Domaine de la Garenne is a family-owned estate whose founder Jean-Louis Reverdy was able to harvest his first vintage in 1820. Their rosé is made from 100 percent pinot noir grown in calcareous soils and from logs whose average age is around 25 years . Lightly pressed juice is mixed with grape must that has been “softened off” during red wine production. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, and the wine is stored for a time on the lees.
East of the city of Bourges lies Sancerre with its 2400 hectares. Here are some villages that have the right to put the designation Sancerre on the label. The Reverdy family lives in Verdigny, where Domaine de la Garenne on the beautiful slopes. Founder Jean-Louis Reverdy planted the first vines in 1820, but it would take until the 1960s for the property to gain a reputation. Since then, they have modernized considerably. Today they have over 12 hectares, of which 9 hectares are cultivated with sauvignon blanc and the remaining 3 hectares with pinot noir for red and rosé.
