Compass Box – Oak Cross 70 cl. 43%

Compass Box Oak Cross is a blended malt whisky crafted by the experienced whisky maker, John Glaser. The name Oak Cross refers to the use of two different types of oak: first, all components (Clynelish, Dailuaine, and Teaninich) are aged in first-fill American oak casks, before a portion is finished in “specially active” casks with heavily toasted French oak ends.
Color: Light straw yellow.
Aroma: Baked apples and pears, ginger, and toffee.
Tasting Notes: The palate reveals plenty of malt and oak, with lightly spiced notes of clove and a pleasant honeyed sweetness.

Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed neat.
