Coffele Alzari (ECO) 75 cl.

Soave Classico – Veneto

Wine made from Garganega grapes, grown in the Alzari Altiu and Bassi vineyards in Castelcerin at an altitude of 150 m above sea level. The grapes are picked by hand during repeated walks through the vineyard – only optimally ripened grapes are always selected.

60% of the collection ferments after pressing in stainless steel tanks, 40% is dried for approx. 40 days and then fermented separately. This is followed by aging for 10-12 months in oak casks with a volume of 1500 l, then at least 3 months in bottle.

The wine has a straw yellow color with golden highlights. In the glass, the aroma develops from mountain herbs, green tea and minerality to ripe Williams pears, dried fruit, roasted nuts and honey.

If you stroll through the large gate in the old part of the small charming town of Soave, you will find Coffele in a Gothic chapel from the 17th century situated in an ancient courtyard. However, the Coffele family is anything but an old-fashioned and heavy-rooted wine house, and the lively family gives its guests as much care and attention as they give to the wines they make. The close bond the family has with each other and the vines is also reflected in the wines, which are classic and archetypal Soaves – which taste exactly like top Soaves should taste.
