Chateau Feuillet Petite Arvine DOC 2023 75 cl.
Valle d’Aosta – Italy
The vineyard extends over 10,000 m2, divided into two different plots at two heights, one at 700 m above sea level. and the other at 800 m above sea level.
To enhance its aromas and delicate aroma, Petite Arvine is a grape harvested at the end of October. The harvest is carried out in small boxes, taken to the cellar, pressed and left to macerate on the skins for two days.
It is then pressed and the controlled fermentation begins at a temperature not exceeding 18°. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out. After a few months of maturation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is bottled in the spring, undergoes another two months of refinement and is marketed at the end of the spring.
This is a really bold wine that comes from Valle d’Aosta in northern Italy, hidden in the Alps. A textured white that doesn’t taste like anything else. It’s not – where else have you had a Petite Arvine? That it is a border region can be seen on the label, where it switches from French to Italian and back a few times as you read it.
The tasting
Petite Arvine from Château Feuillet is a smooth and fresh, fruity and floral white wine from the Aosta Valley. Straw yellow color with greenish reflections; On the nose fruity notes of grapefruit, passion fruit and white melon with a delicate touch of wild flowers. Balanced, soft and tasty taste
