Manufacturing
The wine is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, which has grown in soil consisting of clay, limestone, silt and pebbles. Vinification takes place according to completely traditional Bordeaux methods. After harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed, and the alcoholic fermentation takes place under temperature control in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
About the manufacturer
The history of the vineyard can be dated back to 1850. The current owner, the Figerou family, who have been making wine for two centuries, bought the vineyard in 1959. Today, the estate includes 70 hectares of land, representing different soil types. The many different types of soil make it possible to produce wines that, each with their own quality, please the palate with their roundness, finesse and exquisite aroma and taste.
