Single Cask – Our second Own Barrel. Exclusively Selected for Us. For Rasch Vin & Spiritus.
We are proud to present this magical whisky from Staoisha.
302 bottles in total.
Just under 10 years old and bottled at its absolute peak. This special whisky comes from a Hogshead cask, yielding only 302 bottles exclusively for Rasch Vin & Spiritus in Helsingør.
Bottled at full cask strength (56.8%), it delivers an intense and satisfying experience. We have previously bottled two younger casks of Staoisha (7 and 8 years old), but this edition is a bit more rounded while maintaining its characteristic power.
Expect beautifully integrated smoke with hints of vanilla and caramel, finishing with a light salty note—a powerful yet elegant dram for whisky enthusiasts.
What sets Islay whisky apart from its competitors in regions like the Highlands or Speyside? Islay, a Hebridean island, offers whisky influenced by its maritime climate. Moreover, peat is a hallmark of this whisky region. You can therefore expect peated whisky made from malted barley with a smoky undertone. The Signatory Vintage Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2014/2024 Cask Strength Whisky belongs to this exciting category, even though it is limited to just a few hundred bottles as a single cask bottling.
This exclusive Signatory Vintage Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2014/2024 Cask Strength Whisky deserves undivided attention. Bottled without dilution or chill filtration, it represents a true cask strength whisky with a high alcohol content that should not be underestimated. Furthermore, this high-proof whisky showcases a heavily peated character. For the best experience, enjoy this limited edition with a touch of water to let it work its magic, representing its homeland and producer. Though not directly from the Bunnahabhain Distillery, it comes from a renowned independent bottler.

The aroma of this golden whisky impresses with expressiveness and charisma. A maritime first impression evokes thoughts of spray, salty sea breeze, and seaweed. Overtones of citrus fruits resonate, accompanied by subtle oak spice in the background. The full-bodied and multifaceted flavor reveals peat smoke and a beach campfire. Notes of smoked ham, caramelized peaches, candied lemons, and raspberry syrup complete the drinking experience. A fine bitterness of roasted nuts sets the tone for the long-lasting and powerful finish of smoke and fruits.
