A wonderful aperitivo from Italian producer, Bepi Tosolini (you may be more familiar with its excellent selections of grappas). Built upon a grape distillate (like we said, Bepi Tosolini usually makes grappa, so that makes sense) and flavoured with a selection of hand picked herbs and roots, bitter orange and sweet spices, this expression is bold and zesty, with an enjoyable bitter-sweet edge to it.
Enjoy in a Spritz with sparkling wine and soda water.
This is a new edition from Bepi Tosolini, launched in March 2022, and is a wonderful, non-commercial alternative to the ubiquitous Aperol. Bittersweet with a tantalising softness to the beautifully balanced herbal, pink grapefruit tinged palate. Wonderful in any manner of cocktails.
