Benromach Benromach Vintage Cask Strength Batch 1 has aged in first fill bourbon and sherry casks. Distilled in 2012, and bottled at cask strength, so you get the full and unadulterated flavor profile with spicy sherry notes, vanilla and hints of chocolate, which imperceptibly slips into a finish with orange peel, black pepper and soft, delicious smoke.

Colour: Dark amber.
Aroma: Notes of vanilla and fruit cake, with a touch of dark chocolate. Slightly spicy, with a hint of citrus and charred oak.
Tasting notes: Black pepper on the palate to begin with, which slides into orange peel and hard-boiled fruit. Red berries with a hint of ginger. The finish is long, with raisins and soft smoke.

Serving suggestion: Enjoy it plain, possibly with a few drops of water.
