Saint Lucia Rum

Admiral Rodney Officer’s Release No. 2 is a limited edition rum from St. Lucia Distillers. The rum was distilled in 2009 and aged first in classic bourbon casks and then in casks which have contained Irish whiskey. It is bottled at 45% alcohol, which is slightly higher than the other rums in the range and would certainly please an officer in the British Navy.

Colour: Golden.
Nose: Sweet notes of prune and raisin, followed by spicy hints of clove and allspice.
Tasting notes: Rich rum where we find notes of dried banana, black pepper and raisin.

Serving suggestion: Should be enjoyed neat.
