Admiral Rodney HMS Royal Oak is a rum from St. Lucia Distillers. The rum is named after the ship HMS Royal Oak, which was one of the first to attack the French at the Battle of the Saints – and it must be honoured! The blend consists of rum between 7 and 12 years, distilled in a coffee still and aged exclusively in bourbon casks.
Colour: Like light amber.
Aroma: Notes of dried fruit (think raisin, prune), oak and tobacco.
Tasting notes: In the mouth, the rum is spicy, with notes of, among other things, vanilla, chocolate, caramel and cinnamon.
